These terms govern your use of BriefSync.ai ("BriefSync", "we"). By signing in and using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use BriefSync. Questions: hello@briefsync.ai.

The service

BriefSync is a tech-watch tool. You add sources (links, RSS feeds, uploads); we enrich and group them into named themes with AI-generated summaries, make them searchable, send a weekly email digest, and generate a retention quiz.

Free during launch

BriefSync is currently free and there is no paid tier or billing. Because we're early, features may change, and we may add, modify, or discontinue parts of the service. We'll try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.

Your account

You sign in with Google. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. Don't share access or impersonate others.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you submit. You grant us the limited licence needed to operate the service on your behalf — to store, process (including by a large language model), index, and display that content back to you. We don't claim ownership of it and we don't sell it.

Acceptable use

Don't submit unlawful content or content you have no right to submit; don't use BriefSync to infringe others' rights; and don't attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service or circumvent its security.

AI output — accuracy disclaimer

Summaries, theme syntheses, and quiz questions are generated automatically by a language model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. They are an aid, not professional advice — verify anything important against the original source before relying on it.

Availability and "as is"

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result will be produced.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BriefSync is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. [legal review: confirm enforceable wording for your jurisdiction.]

Termination

You can stop using BriefSync and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached or to protect the service and its users.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and of the member state in which BriefSync.ai is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [legal review: confirm the exact governing jurisdiction and venue.]

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
